Who knew you could hook rings together in so many ways!?<div><br /></div><div>Take the bracelet I'm wearing in the picture; the weave is called <a href="https://chainmaillers.com/maillepedia/harvest-moon.543/" target="_blank">Harvest Moon</a>. Now look at the WIP piece...by adding large alternating orbital rings to Harvest Moon, I now have <a href="https://www.mailleartisans.org/weaves/images/1142-crescent-moon-db.jpg" target="_blank">Crescent Moon</a>. There's another variant called <a href="https://www.mailleartisans.org/weaves/images/1119-moon42-db.jpg" target="_blank">Moon42</a> (that's on my other wrist). All three of these weaves, and more, belong to the Helm family...<div><br /></div><div>In future posts, I'll be exploring Dragon, Wyrm, and Elf weaves. Stay tuned!</div></div></div>Ouroboros Maillehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11103264164306775608noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3446054365376158880.post-29934714057973990862022-11-05T13:08:00.003-07:002022-11-07T17:32:43.919-08:00ovb<p><span style="font-family: Autour One; font-size: large;">OVB Lace WIP -</span></p><p><span style="font-family: Buenard;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigN6XHKkyk4dqdSojc3vg2-onej0FweBZFhj9TuMDpPwT3E2S9Tk5ns7alI0uzQEUwURL18YbpoQHh419_67u5lEBiTxpVNSMxcnR2I87rFfVjs1BQBX1kgZ8xiNk1eqqBv0M99Yrxi0pnC5Sy0Gm22vU1az_woWT_FCj0_fK0q1yvz0SRZNU5ZmfA/s584/OVB%20WIP.png" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="584" data-original-width="583" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigN6XHKkyk4dqdSojc3vg2-onej0FweBZFhj9TuMDpPwT3E2S9Tk5ns7alI0uzQEUwURL18YbpoQHh419_67u5lEBiTxpVNSMxcnR2I87rFfVjs1BQBX1kgZ8xiNk1eqqBv0M99Yrxi0pnC5Sy0Gm22vU1az_woWT_FCj0_fK0q1yvz0SRZNU5ZmfA/w319-h320/OVB%20WIP.png" width="319" /></a><span style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Buenard;"></span><div style="font-family: Buenard; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Buenard;">This is a variation of a weave called </span><a href="https://chainmaillers.com/maillepedia/orbital-vipera-berus.878/" target="_blank">Orbital Vipera Berus</a><span style="font-family: Buenard;">.
